Free mindfulness sessions every Tuesday morning 7.30am - 8am with Debbie for beginners and graduates, and for graduates on Friday mornings at 9am-9:30am with Tessa.

We are highly experienced mindfulness teachers who have trained over a thousand Londoners on the gold-standard 8-week mindfulness course (MBSR/MBCT). The Being Mindful teachers Tessa Watt and Debbie Johnson each have over 25 years of personal mindfulness practice and have been teaching full-time since 2009. We provide a supportive environment in which you can learn lifelong skills to reduce stress and anxiety and enjoy your life to the full.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction - Book now!

(MBSR/ MBCT) is a program for reducing stress and anxiety which has been widely approved by the international medical community. It teaches greater awareness of our thoughts, feelings and sensations through simple techniques like meditation and gentle movement.
In the course you will learn:
- to stay in touch with the present moment and be less caught up in negative thought patterns
- to develop more helpful responses to stress
- to use simple meditation techniques which can transform daily life including sitting meditation exercises (eg mindfulness of breathing), body scan and yoga
We have years of experience of meditation practice and a commitment to making the benefits of mindfulness more widely known and experienced.

NB. We have reduced the cost of our on-line courses to £250 (concessions are available if you are having difficulty through the Covid period, please contact us to discuss, and we will do our best to help ).
We run classes in London: our current course locations in Balham, Clapham and Borough are easily accessable from central London including the West End, the City, London Bridge and Waterloo. The Clapham venue is 5 minutes walk from Clapham Common station on the Northern Line, while the Balham venue is 5 minutes from Balham underground/ rail. These locations are especially convenient from Battersea, Brixton, Clapham Junction, Streatham, Tooting and Wandsworth.
