For dates in the London Bridge area please join our mailing list to receive information soon. We offer day one-day retreats and courses for graduates of the 8-week mindfulness course (with us or another teacher) - see below.

Friday Mornings - Clapham

Mindful Parenting

In this course, we broaden the scope of the mindfulness teachings in order to develop our family relationships. Mindfulness can nourish us as parents, and greatly benefit our family lives. It can help us to reduce stress, speed and destructive behaviour, and enable us to be fully present for our children. In these sessions we will practise some simple mindfulness techniques, and explore how these practices can be brought into family life. We will learn how to open and soften in difficult circumstances, and how to work with those moments when our children are especially challenging.

How to register:

Please fill in our short questionnaire, and email it back to us at beingmindful@beingmindful.co.uk. The teacher will be in touch with details on how to make payment to secure your place. The course will begin with an orientation session where you can find out more about the course and ask questions. However, please feel free to contact us if you have specific questions before registering.

Costs:

The course costs £295 and we have a small number of concessions for students/ low-waged/ unemployed (normally £225) - please contact us to discuss. The course fee includes the all-day retreat session which we encourage you to attend.

The Bermondsey Village Hall is off Bermondsey High street in the middle of Leathermarket Gardens or off Kirby Grove which is in the green park area between the Tyers Estate, the Kipling Estate and the JMB office 5mins behind London Bridge Station.

Introductory all-day retreat

A great day to discover what mindfulness is all about, how it can help you, and give you some introductory practices. Suitable for anyone interested and curious about mindfulness and for those interested in finding out more about our regular 8 week courses, Mindful Parenting and Mindful Relationships. Open to all new students; our graduate students are also welcome.

Graduate all-day retreats

A chance to refresh and deepen your practice, with the practices of body scan, mindful movement, sitting meditation, mindful walking and more. Nourish yourself with the luxury of a day of stillness and silence. For anyone who has completed the standard 8-week mindfulness course or equivalent (with us or another teacher). Please bring a packed lunch and wear comfortable clothes.
